Non Alcoholic Cocktail and Aperitif

Cocktails are drinks obtained by mixing other drinks and if among these, there is not presence of alcohol, than we are talking about non alcoholic cocktails; these are suitable beverages for minors or for people who have to drive and they are no less delicious and exotic those that contain alcohol.
The main ingredient is usually the juice, which are mixed with other alcohol free beverages such as soft drinks, milk, coffee, vegetable juice, syrup, water.
Everything can be sweetened with sugar or honey, flavored with sauces and spices and garnished with fruit.

The non alcoholic aperitifs, as for those alcoholic, are drunk before dinner to stimulate the appetite and are especially common in Italy and France, where the aperitif was born, also if they are very common now also in other states.
Although the drink is not considered a beverage but a way of life, as it can also be used to drink fruit juice or soft drink, there are anyway drinks made especially for this purpose, such as for example Arkay, Tumult, Antesite, Ginger or San Bitter.
Usually we call aperitif also the snacks that precedes a meal. They includes olives, potato chips
pieces of pizza, pretzels, peanuts, cheese, pâté, crackers, bar mix, breadsticks, etc..
