Vegetable Juices

Vegetables are washed, sorted, trimmed, and pulped. During pulping, stems, seeds, and skins which may be present are removed. The pulp is further screened to yield a homogeneous juice. The tomato is the most widely accepted vegetable juice, and is made by the extraction of juice and substantial pulp from red ripe tomatoes. The juice may have salt added as an optional ingredient. The juices of several vegetables, for example, tomato, carrot, parsley, and onion, may be combined into a vegetable cocktail juice.
The cocktail of fruit juice and vegetables most famous is ACE, consisting of orange juice, lemon juice and carrot, the acronym ACE indicates the vitamins provided by the ingredients, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E
