Sparkling wine is characterized by the presence of bubbles.
Bubbly wine can be made in two ways.
The first one, also known as the traditional method, consists of fermentation wine in a closed tank or directly in the bottle; the carbon dioxide may result from natural fermentation and it is released in the form of tiny bubbles after opening.
The second one as a result of carbon dioxide injection (this procedure must be indicated on the label "wine with added carbon dioxide").
Usually the gradation ranges from 10°C to 13°C (50°F to 55°F).
